Communities

Creating a sustainable future for our people, our cultures and our land.

Our Story

Native Power came about from a meeting of minds, experience and a desire to contribute to a sustainable renewable future across Australia. Primary to this process were Chairman Russell Bruce (traditional owner and chairperson of Nullingah Jugun native title group) and Landon Hodgkinson.

Their vision evolved from providing cost effective renewable energy and a regular income stream to Aboriginal communities and to all regional and remote communities where many of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals are yet to be achieved.

Our Solutions

Native Power Solutions offers cutting-edge renewable solutions for water and energy needs, focusing on sustainability and accessibility. Their Atmospheric Water Generators produce clean drinking water from air, with models ranging from small-scale (30 liters/day) to large-scale (6,000 liters/day), compatible with solar power. Additionally, the SmartFlower solar system features sun-tracking panels for optimal energy efficiency in a portable design. These innovations are ideal for supporting remote and regional communities in Australia.

Dear Russell, As Principal of Tabulam Public School, I am delighted to extend to you a heartfelt letter of thanks for your efforts in installing two renewable energy atmospheric water extraction systems to the Aboriginal and non- Aboriginal students at Tabulam Public School. We thank you for your teams visit to our School to launch and explain this marvellous system and in particular, your interaction with the children. It was fantastic to see the questioning, thinking and children's faces when trying the water for the first time. It has been a huge hit with children drinking a considerable amount of water across the school day and filling their bottles up for home. We are thrilled to receive such recognition and would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the NSW Minister for water, Rose Jackson for fulfilling her promise to the outback communities and ensuring access to clean drinking water for all. And last but not least, we would like to thank Russell Bruce, Chairperson of Native Power for his exceptional leadership and vision in making this initiative a reality. Regards Shaun Piccoli Principal Tabulam Public School
